Tuesday 13th October saw the return of the infamous MINI illumination convoy here at Derek Woodman in Blackpool. Over 90 MINIs both new shape and classics participated in the run which once again raised money for Brian House Children’s Hospice.

For each MINI taking part a donation was requested and guests were treated to hog roast and asked to ‘name the pig’ all in the name of charity! A total of £1084.35 (excluding Gift Aid) was raised on the evening beating last years total by over £200.00.
Organiser, Alison Lamb said, “I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone that took part in the run and thank them for their generosity. To raise over a thousand pounds is just amazing. A special mention must go to Graham Mattack and the traffic police for their assistance in getting us down to the promenade in one long convoy!”
