We were delighted here at Derek Woodman MINI when Leonard Macklin decided to purchase his new MINI from us. At 90 years old, we’re proud to name him as our most senior customer.
Leonard passed his army driving test in 1938 aged just 20 years old, he then went on to pass his civilian test in 1946. In 1957 he bought his first car which was a Ford Anglia 100 E, costing Leonard £500.00!
When asked how many cars he had owned over the years, Leonard thought that his new MINI One will be his tenth car.
We’d like to wish Leonard many more years of happy motoring in his new MINI and look forward to seeing him in our showroom soon!
